We are currently seeking a Client Accounting Manager

Primary Responsibilities

 

1.      Oversee daily operations of the team of accountants using established tracking tool. 

2.      Assist managers as needed with client budgets.

3.      Successful transition incoming condominium corporations as assigned with subsequent passing on the team.

4.      Manage the preparation of monthly financial statements to ensure team portfolios meet WD 14 deadline.

5.      Monthly quality check – random review of 8 financials per month

6.      Review all year end financials and audit boxes to ensure audit ready

7.      Assist and guide team on cash flow as needed by managers.

8.      Ensure compliance with GAAP and Condominium Act requirements for financial statements

9.      Maintain established internal controls and operating procedures

10.  Work to accomplish department goals and objectives are established by VP Finance and Leadership.

11.  Serve as primary liaison relative to condominium financial issues for team’s portfolio

12.  Oversee audits for team’s portfolio by reviewing prior to audit to ensure audit ready with goal of no audit adjusting entries.

13.  Assist team as needed with training and workload.

14.  Oversee client banking and back up to client banking manager.

15. Communicate with board members and attend meetings as needed.

  • The Manager is to be knowledgeable in GAAP
  • The Manager is to be familiar with accounting/payroll software programs, ex: Yardi
  • Ability to conduct workshops and training to various audiences
  • Exceptional communication skills
