CP COO Office Junior Project Management Officer (PMO)
The CP COO Strategy & Transformation Office drives the “change the bank” agenda through the evolution and transformation of the Lombard Odier operating model (across process, people and technology) in accordance to business (client and front-office) needs and the overall bank strategy.
We are looking for a Junior Project Management Officer to assist the Head of PMO & Communication in supporting strategic initiatives and operational excellence across the CP COO Office.
YOUR ROLE
Project coordination and management
- Assist in preparing activity reports for the CP COO Office.
- Support the organisation and the management of the CP (Private Clients) budget exercise in collaboration with key front office, IT and operations stakeholders.
- Help improve project portfolio monitoring (KPIs, ROI) under the guidance of the Head of PMO.
- Be proactive and methodical to ensure that potential risks, issues and dependencies that could impact delivery are reviewed and either resolved or escalated to the Head of PMO as appropriate.
- Oversee the monitoring of the CP global project portfolio against budget and deliverables, in conjunction with the Project Managers.
- Support the monitoring of the CP COO Office capacity plan
Mass Mailing & Communication Coordination
- Coordinate mass mailing campaigns and internal mass mailing (newsletters, updates, invitations), ensuring timely delivery and consistency of messaging.
Process & Methodology Optimization
- Development and implementation with the Head of PMO of a standardised project management methodology across the CP COO Office
- Establish project management processes and tools
Release Management Support
- Assist in the coordination of release cycles, ensuring readiness of impacted teams and proper documentation of release notes.
- Follow up on release-related actions and ensure alignment between IT and business stakeholders.
Change Management & Training
- Support operational teams during the introduction of new tools and processes.
- Prepare internal communication materials (newsletters, user guides, FAQs).
- Organize and facilitate training sessions.
- Gather feedback and propose improvements.
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in Finance, Business Management, Engineering or related fields, or evidence of comparable academic / work achievement.
- 2-4 years relevant experience in Consulting in a PMO or Project Management Role with experience in financial services
- Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment,
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a structured approach to project tracking.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, high-stakes banking environment.
- Proficient user of project management related tools such as Service Now, Jira, Confluence, MS Project, etc.
- Strong analytical skills, the ability to summarize complex topics and convey key messages using proficiently MS Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel
- Fluent in English and French; excellent communication (written and verbal), networking, influencing and presentation skills
