Essential Job Functions:

Payroll Management:

  • Validate the employee payroll data, time and attendance, leaves, adhoc incomes and so on.

  • Monitor and obtain dependent information from all stakeholders.

  • Validate the inputs updated in the payroll engine, processed payroll and perform primary validation against inputs.

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll and related applications.

Payroll Compliances:

  • Validate various reports and returns prepared to comply for Income Tax, Provident Fund, Employee State Insurance, Gratuity, Minimum Wage, Payment of Wage and applicable Indian labour laws and regulations.

  • Ensure that all payroll practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Employee Benefits Administration:

  • Assist in managing the employee benefit programs and applicable regulatory benefits rolling under payroll domain.

  • Work with the service providers and statutory authorities to ensure timely disbursement of benefits and redressal of grievances.

Employee Experience:

  • Troubleshoot payroll issues and provide technical and computational support to the employees.

  • Adhere to defined turnaround time and provide quality solution.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare the payroll reports, including salary cost analysis, adhoc income analysis, headcount analysis and so on.

Vendor and Agency Management:

  • Manage primary relationship with external compliance consultants and payroll service providers, ensure the timely deliverables by maintaining checklists and trackers.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, human resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in India Payroll and India Payroll Compliances with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Payroll outsourcing or/and shared services.
  • Managing multi-state and multi-entity payroll for large companies.
  • Strong understanding of India Payroll and India Payroll Compliances.
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret Payroll data and metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and perform in high-performing work environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office applications, leading HRIS, payroll and compliance applications.
  • Strong organizational, time management and priority management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other Requirements:

  • Experience in Workday and Dayforce systems.
  • Certification in Payroll and labour compliances.
  • The employee will be required to report to office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employment.
  • Open to work in mid shifts (1:00pm IST to 10:00pm IST).

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval.
