Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Accounts with a strong focus on sales and marketing for our multinational organization. The Head of Accounts will be a key member of the executive leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales and marketing professional with expertise in advertising agency sales for media, events, merch, and marketing strategy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Along with leadership, create the account services strategy for Brand Revolution and manage its deployment, adoption and execution within the account services department.
- Partner with the creative, events and media department heads to develop and roll out your vision across the agency.
- Work with the HR and Ops departments to ensure your vision is instilled as part of each new team members onboarding.
- Guide and ensure the retention, growth, and expansion of revenue for the agency.
- Working with the VP of Integration & Growth, develop and execute the Business Development Strategy for the agency.
- Provide leadership and support for the client services team, overseeing hiring and onboarding of all new team members including the installation of a more sales-minded approach within the department.
- Set team priorities and review processes to ensure optimal adoption of strategy.
- Manage escalations as needed both within the department, from the leadership team and from agency clients.
- Be an expert in the services we offer and work closely with all agency teams on new potential business solutions for clients.
- Focus on client retention from new accounts and growth of current accounts. Evaluate existing account directors and work with them to increase growth of their accounts as well as consider future hiring of hybrid Account Director that is more sales focused.
- Create and manage a plan for growth for both individual account teams and the agency as a whole.
- Develop and implements sales strategy including tactics, pitch scripts, target markets, and segmenting customers.
- Be a champion for the team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, feedback and learning
- Conduct and manage performance reviews for direct reports and approve promotions and/or merit increases within the client success team
- Report weekly to CRO on overall client relations status, new client issues, unresolved client matters, and customer requested needs
- Be the “face” of client services leadership, knowing each client contact and having regular communication with them outside of escalations, shaping and carrying the agency messaging to clients through the team and directly.
- Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that is able to assist in employing best in class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Complete all special projects and other duties as needs arise.
Minimum Qualifications, Education & Training
- 10+ years of experience working with clients in a marketing / event / advertising agency
- 15+ years leading a marketing agency client services team
- 15+ years of experience in sales and business development, able to bring strategies and skills related to new client acquisition
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to quickly learn our capabilities and identify our strengths, facilitating the new business / organic growth mandate.
- Ability to lead, mentor and coach the client services team and ensure the agency’s service to clients is top notch.
- Accountability for meeting or exceeding quarterly revenue goals in both new business and existing client growth.
- The ability to understand the nuance of client accounts for renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and referrals.
- Experience managing a team of client services and/or business development professionals at a marketing agency or similar.
- Track record of exceeding assigned revenue quotas in contiguous, multiple years.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively deliver presentations to internal and external groups.
- Strong organizational, planning, presentation and time management skills.
- Ability to approach challenges with an entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to be nimble and flexible.

- Proven ability to lead, support, and maintain multi-year, multi-million-dollar relationships at the senior levels of large, demanding, and highly complex clients.
- Ability to work well across all departments while developing and maintaining positive relationships with coworkers of all levels.

- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of office supplies and materials (up to 20 pounds).
- Ability to travel as needed for local and international meetings and events.
