Overview

The Inside Sales Rep will serve as the first in-depth point of contact to prospective customers. They will call on new prospects, identify relevant contacts and develop business relationships. They will provide detailed product knowledge and information to prospects and partner with senior sales team to achieve new booked business quotas

The Inside Sales Rep should demonstrate solution-selling and relationship building skills.

This person will interface with sales, marketing, product, and operations.

Minimum required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

 

Span of Control:

Reports to: VP of Inside and Territory Sales

Oversight:  This position has no direct reports

Roles/ Responsibilities

 

·        Facilitate the acquisition of Customers

·        Adhere to operational KPI’s (Calls, Sets, Activities and Tasks)

·        Individually initiate new sales prospects and qualify leads and solicit potential customers

·        Follow up leads processed through our SDR (pre-sales team) and effectively close the deal

·        Develop sales plans and strategies to meet and exceed established revenue goals

·        Partner with operations to ensure optimal transition to full-service delivery

·        Salesforce Adoption and Maintenance

Qualifications

Minimum required:

·           Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook)

·           Ability to handle high outbound call volume with a corresponding high talk time

·           Minimum 2 years experience in travel industry

·           Excellent written and verbal skills

·           Excellent self-starter and ability to collaborate with team

 

Preferred:

·            B2B Sales experience

·            Familiar with hospitality technology

·          Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership demonstrating the ability to function independently, but also able to operate and excel in a team environment

·          Excel at developing relationships over the phone

·          Must be articulate, organized, proactive, creative and detail oriented

·          Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·          Strong business acumen, ethics and high integrity

·          Relationship building
