Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Care Professional to join our team in Wigan, United Kingdom. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to our clients in their own homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Working hours: You will be required to work shifts, including Mornings (7am-14:15pm) and Evenings (16:00pm-22:00pm).

 

  • Assist clients with personal care and grooming to maintain their dignity and appearance
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to clients' dietary requirements
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
  • Accompany and transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health status
  • Maintain a clean and organised living environment for clients
  • Collaborate effectively with families and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Observe and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate parties
  • Facilitate cognitive stimulation through appropriate activities and exercises
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to unexpected situations or emergencies
  • Work alternative weekends as part of the regular schedule
  • Demonstrate flexibility in shift patterns, including evenings and weekends

 

Qualifications:
  • Genuine passion for caring for others and making a positive impact on their lives
  • Excellent reliability and professionalism
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic and patient nature, with the ability to build trusting relationships
  • Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and daily tasks
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Basic first aid knowledge (preferred but not required, as training will be provided)
  • Previous experience in caregiving or related field is beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to clients' individual needs and preferences
