About the Role:
If you’re discreet and professional with a caring attitude, then we would like to hear from you. Find your greatness by joining our Non-Emergency Patient Transport Team (NEPT) as one of our Ambulance driver/ Care Assistants. You’ll support SEND non-emergency patients by providing first class, safe care during their transportation between their home and destination. This is primarily to their School/College or Care Centre. We also provide transport to hospitals & clinic appointments.
Being able to remain calm under pressure is key, as is being willing to undertake training to broaden your knowledge of medical and mental health conditions. A flexible, adaptable approach is required as every day will be different.
We would be willing to pay for the right candidate to undergo training to take and pass the D1 category driving test.
This role will be at our Thorn Turn Depot, Grendall Lane, Houghton Regis, LU5 6GJ
You’ll be able to read, write and speak English fluently and be able to understand and follow policies and procedures supplied to you.
