Position Overview: Field LVN

ABOUT THE JOB

Our LVNs deliver skilled nursing services in alignment with SilverStone Health’s philosophy and policies, providing care to assigned patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with physician orders. The LVN performs all duties with professionalism and ethical integrity, collaborating closely with other healthcare team members to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Ability to lift and transfer patients as necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Extensive travel required within the agency's service area (90% of the time spent in the field).
  • Occasional exposure to varying environmental conditions, including inclement weather and potential exposure to bodily fluids and infectious diseases.
  • Flexibility to work in diverse patient environments and handle stressful situations with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education/Licensure: 

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Active and unrestricted LVN license in the state of Texas.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of governmental regulations, Medicare, private insurance regulations, and company policies.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within a designated area.

Transportation

Current State Driver’s License. Reliable personal transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance
