The Position
The Analyst will join Clarion’s Client Capital Management Group (“CCM”), with primary responsibility for supporting the Firm’s fundraising and client service efforts through the preparation of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and other investor inquiries. The role is focused on drafting and coordinating responses that incorporate both qualitative narratives and quantitative data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with Firm standards. The position also supports the creation and maintenance of other marketing materials, including presentations.
The role requires close collaboration with the CCM team and colleagues across Clarion’s investment and operations functions. It is well-suited for candidates who bring strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated interest in real estate investment management.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Content Development:
- Draft, edit, and coordinate RFP, RFI, and DDQ responses, incorporating both qualitative narratives and quantitative data, in collaboration with internal stakeholders across functions and levels of seniority.
- Manage and enhance Clarion’s content library, ensuring consistency and accuracy of Firm data and messaging across RFP/DDQ responses, marketing materials, and other investor and prospect communications.
- Partner with Clarion’s Legal & Compliance group to ensure deliverables are reviewed and approved in a timely manner.
- Recommend and implement improvements to streamline workflows and increase the efficiency of RFP/DDQ processes.
Firm & Investor Relations Support:
- Develop expertise in Clarion’s investment platform and funds to support a wide range of investor relations activities.
- Maintain strong working relationships across the Firm to stay informed on new initiatives, strategy updates, and performance results, ensuring client deliverables reflect current information.
- Support special projects and ad hoc initiatives as assigned.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate should have:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills with high attention to detail.
- A proactive and resourceful work ethic, with the ability to take ownership of projects, work independently, and seek input when appropriate.
- Quantitative aptitude, with the ability to interpret performance data and understand investor requests involving financial information.
- An understanding of institutional marketing and fundraising processes within investment management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and general familiarity with CRM systems and AI software.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1-2 years of experience in financial services, preferably private fund marketing, client services, investor relations, due diligence, or operations.
If based in New York, the base salary range for this position is USD $85,000 - $95,000. Actual base salary offered will be determined by several components including but not limited to the candidate's experience, job-related knowledge, and qualifications. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role. Total compensation may vary based on role, location, and individual performance. For roles located outside of Los Angeles, please disregard the posted salary range as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on the local market.
