The Intern will be responsible for:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of global engineering efficiency projects
  • Conduct research and gather data to support engineering decisions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure project success
  • Prepare and present project status reports to management and stakeholders.  Track project progress and report any deviations from the project plan.
  • Provide technical support and assistance in the design, development, and implementation of engineering efficiency solutions
  • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Intern also will learn about the following:

  • Engineering design tools inclusive of mechanical, electrical and software
  • Project planning
  • Efficiency calculations and strategies
  • Product standardization methodologies
  • Productivity improvement strategies

Skills/Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled at the time internship commences and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college with Mechanical Engineering majors preferred.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Good interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across multiple functions to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office products, i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Additional Information

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.
  • No relocation assistance provided.
  • Internship is 12 weeks, May 26 - August 14, 2026
