Service Credit Union is seeking a full-time Assistant Branch Manager at our Salem, NH Walmart location where you will manage employees and resources of a branch office in an effective and efficient manner within Credit Union policies and procedures.
Pay: $68,495.41/yearly, flexible based on experience.

The Day to Day:
- Support the branch manager in supervising the operation of a branch office exercising good principles of organization, prioritization, and personnel management. Assists in staff selection, training, and development in conjunction with the branch manager; coach, counsel, and discipline employees; recommend for promotion or termination.
- Assists the branch manager in maintaining overall exterior and interior branch presentation in accordance with Service CU guidelines and merchandising plans. Ensuring highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and appearance is established.
- Has a thorough working knowledge of all Service CU policies, procedures, applications, and systems. Works with their branch Manager and staff to meet the current fiscal year corporate and the branch production goals. These goals include, loan production, new members, new checking accounts, credit card, and credit life and credit disability.
- Supports the branch manager in maintaining the office at the highest level of efficiency possible. Sets an example for the branch staff in professionalism, ethics and office etiquette. Works with branch staff to meet and be accountable to established Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Adhere to compliance requirements to include but not limited to; physical security, information security, safety, BSA/USA Patriot Act regulations, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Monetary Instruments (MI), Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR), Currency Transaction Reports (CTR), and Fraud/Identity Theft (ID Safe).
- Support branch manager and staff to meet assigned goals for new member development and cross-selling of Service CU products.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Superior working knowledge of all credit union policies and procedures, branch office functions, and duties of all subordinate personnel.
- Thorough knowledge of current computer operating systems.
- High degree of skill in leadership techniques and member service duties.
- Works independently and is able to perform position duties with little or no supervision.
- Ability to work well with superiors, peers, and subordinates.
- Aptitude for detailed work and problem solving adeptness.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.
- High School diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous management or supervisory experience.
- Minimum of one year financial experience required.
