POSITION SUMMARY The Practice Manager will partner closely with the Practice Director and Local Practice Board to ensure the effective management, growth, and optimization of a premier local radiology practice in the TX market. This role combines operational leadership, physician support, quality oversight, and strategic planning to foster practice excellence, drive innovation, and maintain strong client relationships. Develop and oversee radiologist scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage without gaps, balancing subspecialty needs, licensing, and credentialing requirements. Manage independent contractor staffing and scheduling. Monitor practice volume, productivity, and key performance metrics, implementing improvement programs where needed. Coordinate with HR, IT, Legal, and local teams on hiring, onboarding, licensing, credentialing, and retention initiatives. Provide financial oversight, including payroll monitoring, adjustments, reporting, and monthly financial performance updates. Assist in development and adherence to practice budgets and support billing compliance efforts. Oversee IT coordination with the Radiology Partners national team, including system implementation and downtime communication. Lead special projects such as strategic planning, compensation tracking, and workflow optimization. Physician Support & Leadership Manage onboarding, credentialing, and mentorship programs for new physicians. Support day-to-day physician communications, ensuring consistent and transparent practice-wide updates. Promote collaboration, team morale, and productivity by fostering a supportive, team-oriented environment. Provide guidance on performance management, including coaching, counseling, and career development. Support recruitment initiatives: coordinate interviews, assist recruitment committees, and oversee onboarding. Quality & ComplianceMonitor and support clinical quality programs, including OPPE, FPPE, patient safety, and critical findings reporting. Lead the Patient Safety Committee and ensure adherence to client service level agreements. Implement new quality management programs and oversee protocol development for client technologists. Partner with leadership to maximize billing compliance and clinical quality outcomes. Client & Market EngagementServe as a liaison for client management, addressing concerns, initiating process improvements, and optimizing service delivery. Manage breast division operations including onboarding, recruitment, retention, client management, and IT coordination. Oversee monthly client management meetings and develop/distribute client reporting metrics (e.g., Free-Standing ER Market metrics via Tableau). Manage website and social media updates, ensuring accurate representation of the practice. Team & Administrative Leadership Oversee the Medical Secretary Team, including onboarding, training, performance reviews, workflow initiatives, and protocols. Plan and coordinate meetings and events, including town halls, quarterly committee meetings, leadership summits, and special events; prepare agendas, minutes, and presentations as needed. Support committee and board preparations, ensuring alignment with practice objectives. DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s Degree or relevant experience preferred, master’s degree highly preferred 5+ years of relevant experience in management, healthcare administration or radiology. 2+ years of prior analyst experience preferred · Experience in Radiology preferred but not required Strong experience using Excel to create and maintain models with multiple variables Candidates should have experience in working closely with physicians Requires a thorough understanding of customer relationship management, entrepreneurial based service delivery and an ability to adapt to a rapidly growing environment Demonstrated leadership in a management environment with core skills of detail orientation, follow through, process design, excellent communication and relationship management Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Radiology Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
