Department: Ecommerce Contact Center

Reports To: Ecommerce Contact Center Manager

Overview:

  

Do you like talking with customers and solving problems? Are you looking for a seasonal position that lasts through the holidays? 


Our Seasonal Customer Service Specialists provide customer support via phone, email, and chat throughout the upcoming holiday season.  Paid training classes for these seasonal positions start in August and extend through early November.


Our current open hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. We extend our hours for the holidays, late-November through early January, to Monday- Saturday 8am-5:30pm. Hours scheduled are based on skill, tenure, and business need. This position offers working onsite at our corporate offices at 6411 Burleson Road in Austin TX OR working from home full-time. Eligible candidates must be within the greater Austin area as equipment needs to be picked-up and returned in person.

  • Create great customer experiences 
  • Assist customers via assigned channels with order assistance and other inquiries. Phones are mandatory and our primary channel of contact.
  • Maintain and grow knowledge of products, promotions, and sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction and sales
  • Support the mission statement and core values (commitment, integrity, openness) of Go Retail Group

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  

  • Positive attitude 
  • Productive, professional and courteous manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including excellent grammar
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including comfort with Microsoft office & ability to type at least 35 WPM
  • Ability to accomplish tasks in the most timely and efficient manner
  • Multi-tasking, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Openness to receiving frequent feedback and incorporating it into daily work
  • If  working from home, high-speed internet via ethernet cable connection and a quiet space to work from home

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months contact center experience
