Lavelle Supervisors are focused on supervising and coordinating activities of employees engaged in their work. A Lavelle Department Supervisor is team-oriented and people-focused. They use demonstrated analysis and problem-solving tools to support the growth and development of their team and meet department or organizational goals.

Work includes, but is not limited to:

• Ensuring compliance with standard work; enforcing work rules and safety policies including initiation of disciplinary process and escalating when appropriate.
• Supervising the daily work of the department or facility, managing direct reports as needed.
• Cultivating a team atmosphere.
• Review direct reports or operator performance and coaching for improvement.
• Managing the tracking, recording and analysis of team KPI's.
• Working with other Supervisors and Operations Leadership on project work; work will include participating in continuous improvement activities, including project work, 5-whys, PDSAs and kaizen events.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and demonstrate professionalism in all communications.

Requirements

• 2-4 year degree or working toward a degree preferred.
• 2+ years leadership experience; 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis.
