🎯 What You’ll Do in This Role:

The Quality Business Partner – Assisted Living works under the direction of the Director of Quality and partners with the assisted living team to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs for both direct and indirect care team members. This role ensures compliance with annual education requirements by aligning training offerings with department goals, coordinating and delivering new hire and annual classes, and communicating outcomes to department managers. In addition, this position oversees team member health requirements, including annual flu clinics and TB testing, and provides guidance, direction, and intervention related to communicable disease across all levels of living.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver training programs, including new hire orientation, annual competencies, skills days, and required certifications (such as CPR and medication administration).
  • Oversee training compliance through Relias and maintain accurate team member training records, notifying managers of non-compliance.
  • Conduct audits, rounds, and spot-checks in Assisted Living to identify needs and provide on-the-spot education.
  • Support communicable disease prevention by coordinating flu clinics, TB testing, and other required vaccinations.
  • Serve as a resource for managers, team members, and ancillary departments to ensure education meets regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Facilitate EMR training, troubleshoot software questions, and partner with external education institutes to create learning opportunities.
  • Promote Brio Living Services’ culture change initiatives and support quality improvement projects across the community.

What it takes:

  • Medical Assistant training or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in direct patient care, with a focus on education and training; experience in Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living preferred.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends to support staff training needs.
  • Strong ability to plan, organize, and build effective relationships across departments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Confidence in making independent decisions and handling sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
