HOURS 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Wage Range Based on Experience plus the evening team shift differential of $2.00

Perfect attendance differential of an additional $1.00/hr

The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic design recommendations and machine startups. She/he will design and debug machine controls, wire and assembly machines form schematics and blueprints and use measuring and diagnostic tools to trouble shoot and repair production equipment throughout the plant. She/he will be responsible for identifying parts for replacement and place orders as necessary and must rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals in a priority order.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Read and interpret programs and program machine controls
  • Good mechanical skills
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Computer-able to navigate and interface computer software and hardware i order to access the network.
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic and pneumatic, Electrical Schematics, PLC controls 

    Responsibilities of the job include:

    • Safely use Hand Tools and meters to repair production equipment.
    • Perform Preventative Maintenance per P.M. sheets and manuals.
    • Complete work orders and other assigned work in a timely professional manner
    • Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and repair production equipment.
    • Work with all levels of the organization, participate on teams, and work required overtime.
    • Plan and organize multiple projects and or work orders.
    • Read and/or develop skills and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
    • Efficiently and accurately perform the repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
    • Identify parts for replacement and place orders as necessary.  
    • Communicate pertinent job information (verbally or in writing) to your fellow co-workers. Allow necessary time before and after shift start/stop to communicate information to the previous and following shifts.
    • Replace, as needed, any worn parts or tools, including screws, bolts, nuts, your own personal tools, etc.
    • Utilize computer software and hardware effectively.
    • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows the 6S Cost Reduction through Standardization, Waste Elimination and Housekeeping.
    • Work overtime when needed.
    • Work as a team to support our departmental and corporate goals to meet our customers expectations.
