Overview
We are seeking an SBIR-STTR Contract Administrator to support the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA) Small Business Innovation Program (SBIP). In this role, you’ll combine your contract management skills with technical program support to help advance research and development projects in strategic materials, manufacturing technologies, and supply chain readiness. You’ll work closely with program managers, engineers, and senior leaders to ensure contracts are executed effectively and aligned with mission priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Program Manager (SPM) with high-priority projects across DLA, OSD, and DoD.
- Manage contract databases and files, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support contract development, administration, tracking, analysis, and closeout.
- Monitor contractor performance, identify issues, and recommend improvements.
- Review modifications, extensions, and compliance documentation.
- Prepare and distribute reports, briefings, and success stories for leadership.
- Serve as project manager for SBIR-STTR contracts, coordinating activities and ensuring objectives are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies and best practices.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in procurement, contracts management, or research and development support.
- Active IT-II security clearance or current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).
Preferred:
- 5–7 years of experience in procurement or contract administration.
- 3+ years of experience supporting SBIR/STTR programs.
- Strong background in manufacturing, supply chain assurance, or R&D technology areas.
