Multimedia Producer (Photographer/Videographer) chez Atlantic Coast Mortgage

Job Summary: 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced videographer/photographer (content creator) with a vision to build a growing brand through creative visual and audio storytelling.  

You have experience managing the creative process end-to-end. Ranging from 1-on-1 interviews, multiple subject video podcasts, events, internal training & explainer videos, social media segments, and marketing-driven advertisements. You are confident with setting up and managing video and photoshoots, including pre-planning, lighting, audio, directing, and interviewing.  

You are a naturally curious self-starter with an eye for discovering new visual and auditory multimedia ideas that tell compelling stories. You are adept as a highly capable videographer, photographer, editor, and producer. You are a hands-on leader and excellent communicator, with the ability to interface with executives, sales teams, and operations teams across the company, including external partners. 

You will be responsible for taking full ownership of all video and photography projects, from planning the shoot with the marketing team to final production. This includes Pre-Production, Production, Post-Production, and regularly tracking video performance using analytics tools and using this data to help the marketing team make informed decisions about format, approach, and promotion of content. 

Excellent time management, accuracy, self-motivation, and innovative thinking are essential. 

The ideal candidate is a creative, collaborative, critical thinker who is organized and continually learning to improve their skills and identify new trends while also being fully capable of working independently when needed. 

As the Multimedia Videographer/Photographer, you will provide high-quality creative products and campaigns while paying attention to detail to ensure materials are created and delivered to meet budget requirements, project deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.

Experience: 

·         Video Production: 5 years (Required) 

·         Photography: 5 years (Required) 

·         Knowledge of professional video, photo, and audio editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards. 

·         Experience with consulting, photography, filming, directing, editing, and production of final products that meet deadlines and expectations. 

·         Strong lighting skills, both in-studio and remote environments. 

·         Demonstrated professional experience with multi-camera interviews 

·         Professional experience with camera equipment, lighting, audio, multi-point video shoots, green screens, and teleprompters 

·         Experience planning and communicating short and long-form video concepts for use across digital media channels. 

·         Working knowledge of the best types of videos for a variety of social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. 

·         Expert experience in full Adobe Creative suite 

·         Professional experience creating motion graphics (e.g., Advanced animated typography, titles, logos, graphic loops, explainer videos, UI/UX animations) 

·         Experience and advanced skills in color grading video 

·         Fundamental knowledge and experience in headshot and event photography 

·         Excellent interpersonal skills – including the ability to direct a shoot and make subjects feel comfortable. 

·         Experience and understanding of how to create compelling video content for social media platforms. 

Qualifications: 

·         Must be located in or commutable distance to Fairfax Headquarters office 

·         Produce professional motion graphic animations, audio, video, and graphic images into multimedia content for publishing and distribution across digital media channels. 

·         Must be able to test video/photo, audio, and lighting equipment and also determine supporting equipment needed, and determine shot locations 

·         Must be able to follow ACM's video development process, which includes creative brief, concept boards, pre-production, asset pull and shooting, video editing, final production, and collaborating with the marketing team on promotion and distribution 

·         Have a high level of passion, resourcefulness, independent thinking, and strong communication and interpersonal skills 

·         Keep current on new technologies and establish/take advantage of learning opportunities and training for self and team 

·         An excellent communicator, writer, strategic thinker, and planner with strong problem-solving skills 

·         Passionate about their work and results-driven 

·         Work with the marketing team in a collaborative environment to deliver creative products that get results and help build the brand of ACM 

·         Must be a self-starter, highly motivated individual that works well with a team and adapts to dynamic environment changes 

·         Perform other duties as required or assigned 

·         This role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to occasionally travel to branch locations for video/photoshoots when needed 

·         Ability to manage, track, and document all aspects of video and photography projects in the ACM Project Management platform 

Bonus Skills and Experience: 

·         Experience in creative design for Mortgage or Real Estate companies is a plus! 

·         Experience operating and producing drone videography. 

·         Degree in film, photography or related field.
