As the Marketing Finance Manager at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you will be a key strategic partner for the Marketing team. Specifically you will provide financial analysis, budget management and reporting for the department. You will partner closely with key stakeholders on the Marketing team to understand objectives, while aligning with the Finance team on overall approach. In this role you will proactively provide data analysis and insights that will help drive strategic growth. Reporting into the Director, Marketing Finance, you will play an integral role at FBG.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare forecasts for Marketing and VIP, including underpinning models ensuring quality, timeliness, and accuracy to ensure delivery against FBG long term ambitions.
- Supporting the creation of the annual and multi-year strategic and financial plans
- Support month-end close process and analyze actual performance vs. plan, prior year, and current forecast. Build and maintain financial models for insight and analysis.
- Develop, maintain and update KPI dashboards for review with senior management.
- Standardize onboarding and training for the marketing organization and budget owners to ensure consistency in financial processes, invoice tracking, and forecast hygiene.
- Lead real-time budget tracking across key Marketing functions with a deep understanding of priorities across the marketing calendar.
- Develop and drive process with accounting to ensure clarity on invoice submissions, approvals and tracking, with a clear feedback loop delivered on Airtable dashboards including reconciliation with Oracle Systems.
- Serve as the product owner of Marketing’s budget visibility ecosystem, including workflows for budget reallocation, planning submissions, and approval tracking.
- Facilitate discussions and ensure alignment around reallocations when overages or underspend arise
- Experience and Skills:
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics and/or similar discipline with analytical bias
- 3+ years’ experience in FP&A, or a similar function.
- Deep understanding of budgeting processes, financial modeling, and business partnering.
- Strong experience with finance and project management tools (e.g., Airtable, Google Sheets, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
- Exceptional communication skills; able to translate financial data into actionable insights for creative and non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks and reliably meet deadlines.
- Team-first mentality, with a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done and a desire to strive for better
- Open to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings
Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $100,000 to $115,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed).
