Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our team during the year-end period. This role will focus on ensuring seamless execution of critical HR processes including performance management, data audits, reporting, compliance updates, and employee communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with year-end performance review coordination and tracking.
  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards for leadership review.
  • Conduct data audits in HRIS to ensure accuracy before year-end close.
  • Support annual compensation review processes with data preparation and verification.
  • Coordinate and support Open Enrollment activities, including employee communications, responding to benefits-related queries, and ensuring accurate data updates for benefits elections.
  • Ensure compliance-related documentation and policies are updated for the new year.
  • Coordinate year-end employee communications (e.g. policy changes, compensation letters, benefits updates).
  • Provide day-to-day HR generalist support as required, including employee queries.
  • Collaborate with payroll for final year-end adjustments and reporting.
  • Support HR projects such as engagement surveys or HR calendar planning for the following year.

  • Strong strategic-thinking and problem-solving skills: ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical HR reports, legal documents, and basic financial information.

Education & Experience:     

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 3 years of professional HR experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency

Preferred:

PHR or SPHR certification

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Work is performed in an office environment. This role will routinely utilize standard office equipment to perform the core functions listed in this job description. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies as well as communicate verbally and electronically. The work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive reading to perform the core functions listed in this job description. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
