Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • 2 years of experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.

About the job

As a Strategy and Operations Senior Associate, you will be responsible for delivering transformational initiatives that are foundational to the success and growth of the Americas LCS team. You will partner closely with sales leaders/stakeholders as well as cross-functional partners across GTM, LCS, Marketing, Professional Services, Learning and Development, etc. in order to drive scaled strategy and execution.

You will solve complex problems, drive c-level decision making, and deliver impactful change for Google’s largest commercial business.

You will be required to combine excellent business acumen with distinctive project management, insights, and information gathering. You will gain invaluable experience in this high impact role working in a dynamic global environment.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead projects that design, execute, and measure impact of strategic initiatives.
  • Own hypotheses to key strategic issues and be the main contributor to findings and solutions by partnering with peers to deliver data-driven insights and synthesize recommendations for executive decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across business areas (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, other parts of AGTM) and regions to drive insights and strategic recommendations to leadership and working teams, based on analysis, experience, technical acumen.
  • Support existing strategic initiatives through ongoing analysis and project management. Identify additional areas of opportunities and develop strategic and tactical plans, and mobilize stakeholders to execute to improve Customer and promoter satisfaction.
