The Position: PAR is seeking motivated and energetic full-time Sleep Authorization Specialists to join our Boulders office location. 

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

• Authorization Processing
• Apply Private Payer Policies
• Apply Government Payer Policies
• Follow up on Authorization Statuses
• Resolve Authorization Denials
• Submit Appeals
• Daily Analysis and Resolution of outstanding authorizations
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II Coding Guidelines
• Complete daily tasks:  responding to sleep authorization requests.
• Authorization entry
• Assist Billing Director with daily workload as time permits. 
• Perform other duties as assigned by provider, supervisor or member of Administration – for example, cross trained to improve the revenue cycle.      

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in medical billing. Experience working in a medical practice is preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent.
