POSITION SUMMARY:

The Main Campus Admissions Operations Specialist plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day functions of the admissions office and enhancing the overall enrollment experience for prospective students. This position provides operational support to various areas, including admission event management, communications, data management, and student outreach. Working closely with department leadership, the Admission Operations Specialist helps coordinate daily information sessions and on-campus admission events while ensuring the accuracy and completeness of student records. The role also requires engagement with prospective students through CRM outreach, daily information sessions, and advisory scheduling, contributing to the university’s recruitment and retention goals. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent student service. They will collaborate with internal teams, supervise student workers, and assist with scheduling and mailings, all while maintaining compliance with institutional policies and higher education regulations. The job offers a flexible hybrid schedule.  

 Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with department leadership to plan, organize, and execute impactful on-campus admissions events that support recruitment goals and enhance the prospective student experience.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries received through the main admissions email account, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Provide front desk coverage during business hours when student worker coverage is unavailable, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for visitors.
  • Support department leadership in scheduling daily information sessions and coordinating prospective student mailings.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to inquiries and prospective students using the CRM to generate interest, guide them through the application process, and schedule Professional College Advisory Sessions.
  • Assist the admissions team in communicating key information regarding next steps, deadlines, and upcoming on-campus events.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of student enrollment data and outreach records to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Follow up with prospective students and document all interactions in the CRM to ensure a seamless and supportive enrollment experience.
  • Deliver engaging Daily Information Sessions to prospective students and their families, highlighting the value of a Post University education.
  • Participate in team and department-wide meetings to share best practices, contribute to strategic discussions, and support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations concerning higher education enrollment and compliance.
  • Collaborate with your supervisor to establish a flexible hybrid work schedule, including options such as Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday shifts.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the goals of the Admissions Operations team and the broader enrollment division.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Superior relationship building, teamwork, and communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet applications, and database software are required, preferably Campus Nexus expertise.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to multitask. 
  • Must be available to work a flexible, hybrid schedule. 
  • Must be able to work in a team-oriented, object-focused environment
