Co-Op Opportunities chez Hanwha Philly Shipyard

Key Responsibilities

While responsibilities will vary depending on the department assignment, co-op students may:

• Assist with project planning, coordination, and execution.

• Support data collection, analysis, and reporting efforts.

• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and site visits.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in processes, safety, quality, or efficiency.

• Gain exposure to large-scale manufacturing and shipbuilding operations.

• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs and area of study.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a related field (Engineering, Supply Chain, Safety, HR, Business, or other relevant disciplines).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Willingness to work in a shipyard/manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship, co-op, or related experience.

• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

• Interest in shipbuilding, defense, or large-scale manufacturing industries.
