Training Instructor FPS - Washington, DC chez Golden SVCS, LLC

The Training Instructor is primarily responsible for the delivery of curriculum using lesson plans to instruct contract security personnel working at FPS locations. The Training Instructor analyzes training statistical data, as a part of the training needs analysis process, to support training recommendations. The training conducted will include but not limited to: Officer Core Training, CPR/First Aid/AED training, Defensive Tactics, Handcuffing, Baton, OC Spray and Firearms Instructions, National Weapons Detection.

Requirements: Acceptable certifications MUST be presented from the training topics below:

• Must have demonstrated instructor experience for at least 1 year.
• Must possess at least two years of demonstrated experience and knowledge of law enforcement or security methodologies.
• Must be able to meet the requirements of a Protective Security Officer.
• Must be able to develop various documents using Microsoft Office applications.

Education required: 

High School Diploma or GED.

Education Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security, Security Administration, Criminal Justice, or closely related field of study

Additional Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language and ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms
• Able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
• Be shift flexible including nights and weekends
