POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: |
The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for an Assistant Director to assist the Director of Photography in all aspects of photography for UAA student-athletes, sporting events and initiatives. This includes generating new and relevant ideas, focusing on revenue generation in an everchanging media landscape while consistently supporting and showcasing the Florida Gators brand. In addition to coverage of events and creative content generation, this position supports athlete marketing efforts by producing high-quality visual content tailored to individual student-athletes. Works closely with the athlete marketing and NIL Director to develop personalized assets for social media, promotional use, and branding opportunities, ensuring each athlete’s image aligns with both personal goals and Florida Gators standards. This position requires the incumbent to be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team; make decisions and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment; engage effectively with others of diverse cultures and backgrounds; and must be able to work a non-standard work week, which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overnight travel.
