Position / Role Description:
Radiance is seeking a highly analytical and driven Financial Analyst to support the business’s ongoing performance and growth. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, this individual will work cross functionally to provide actionable financial analysis enabling key stakeholders to drive business performance. The Financial Analyst will partner on entity-level reporting and analysis, and support in the budgeting and forecasting processes for Radiance. The Financial Analyst will also play a key role in providing ad-hoc analyses and presentations and will be exposed to most departments across the organization including our senior executive team. This role requires a highly motivated and curious candidate that is searching for an opportunity to grow their career in finance while having a tangible impact driving business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Prepare & present Monthly Financial Reviews, drawing insights from financial results to help inform decision-making across the Finance, Operations, and Executive teams.
- Support critical components of the budgeting and forecasting processes, developing key inputs that will set business targets across the enterprise.
- Support the creation of board meeting materials to explain current trends and drive executive level initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Support
- Own the creation and ongoing maintenance of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI reporting to empower both corporate and franchise leaders with actionable insights.
- Develop a strong understanding of the industry and effectively communicate how business operations affect thefinancial performance of the company
- Support Sales/Business Development teams with entity level financial support, including actionable commentary on results, key trends in the business, and forecasts.
- Analytical Insights and Project Innovation
- Support ad hoc analyses and projects to test hypotheses, provide insightful conclusions, and ultimately drive enhancements to business processes and performance.
- Partner with Finance and IT leaders in the development of foundational data and analytics infrastructure.
- Identify and execute on opportunities for increased automation and standardization in finance processes to drive efficiency in our work
- Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor and department heads.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Strong intellectual curiosity and a passion for problem-solving; highly analytical and solution-oriented.
- Ability to extract and analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and make actionable recommendations in a concise, informative manner.
- Foundation in basic finance and accounting concepts, including building financial models and analyzing profit and loss statements
- Proven ability to develop a strong partnership with the business leaders that Finance supports.
- Experience successfully driving new processes and projects to completion
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience; experience with PowerBI and SQL a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related degree required.
- 2+ years of experience in finance or related field. Multi-unit consumer retail experience a plus but not required.
