- Receive calls related to fees, deposits and monetary procedures.

- Prepare daily/weekly bank deposits for multiple bank accounts and bank delivery.
- Prepare purchase requisitions ensuring compliance with purchasing procedures and regulations.
- Verify authorization and oversee distribution of building credit cards.
- Reconcile monthly building credit card statements.
- Maintain complete and systematic records to ensure all school financial activities comply with district policies and state regulations.
- Analyze and process fees owed, coding information, reports, etc., ensuring accuracy of data and disseminate information to appropriate parties.
- Develop, track and maintain systems regarding student information, financial transactions for groups, clubs and activities, purchase orders, requisitions, budget, etc. to comply with business office auditing procedures, financial, and legal requirements.
- Ensure accuracy of payable accounts, balance accounts monthly.
- Solicit and research quotes for requested equipment and/or services.
- Respond to inquiries from a variety of internal and external parties (staff, parents, students and public) to provide information and facilitate effective communication.
- Serve as the school liaison to the business office; oversees proper compliance at school level for all monetary transactions ensuring compliance with district policies and procedures.
- Present information on administrative bookkeeping policies and procedures to train and orient other building personnel.
- Support other administrative personnel with administrative bookkeeping functions.
- Research a variety of topics to address a variety of administrative and bookkeeping requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and project a professional image when handling sensitive and confidential situations and information.
- Compose a wide variety of documents (e.g. correspondence, reports, etc.) to communicate information to school and district personnel, the public, state officials, etc.

Position Title: High School Bookkeeper
Immediate Supervisor: High School Principal
Summary:
Provides support to school administration and assists business office by maintaining accurate records of accounting transactions, ensuring that financial activities comply with district policies and procedures, analyzing financial information and preparing reports for school administration and others as required. Promotes a positive image of the school through interactions with parents, students, staff, and community members.

Successful secretarial and clerical experience required.
Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience required.
