What you will be doing:

In this exceptionally unparalleled role, you will contribute to our world-class Anesthesiology department by ensuring flawless administrative support across our residency and fellowship programs. Your ambitious efforts will help us maintain our high standards of excellence and contribute to the overall success of our department!

The Program Administrator assists the Program Manager in coordinating administrative operations for both residency and fellowship programs in the Department of Anesthesiology. The program administrator is accountable for but not limited to:

  • Aiding the Program Manager in coordinating administrative operations for both residency and fellowship programs.
  • Serving as the liaison between Program Directors and Program Coordinators to ensure consistent communication and alignment of program goals.
  • Coordinating program-wide initiatives, events, and projects.
  • Assisting with accreditation readiness, including documentation tracking, reporting, and compliance with ACGME and institutional standards.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing process improvements to boost program efficiency.
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding activities for residents and fellows in collaboration with coordinators.
  • Compiling and maintaining program data, reports, and performance metrics for leadership review.
  • Assisting in managing program budgets and expenditures.
  • Offering mentorship and support to coordinators on complex or advanced issues.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare or another related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing project support, including at least 2 years specifically supporting Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs, with a focus on residency and/or fellowship training.
  • TAGME certification preferred.
