We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Janitorial Account Supervisor to oversee custodial operations for Attala County Schools. This role ensures that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are performed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, supporting a clean and healthy learning environment for students and staff.
Pay: $19.00/hour
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate daily janitorial operations across school buildings.
- Develop and manage cleaning schedules to meet school needs and special events.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and safety regulations.
- Train janitorial staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order replacements as needed.
- Address and resolve complaints or issues related to janitorial services.
- Collaborate with school administrators and maintenance teams to align custodial services with facility needs.
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and evaluating janitorial staff performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare reports and maintain records of cleaning activities and staff performance.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional vocational training or certifications preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in janitorial or custodial services, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
- Ability to lift and operate cleaning equipment and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA and school safety standards.
- Primarily based on school premises.
- May require early morning, evening, or weekend shifts depending on school events or emergencies.
