We’re looking for an Associate Financial Analyst to join our team supporting the Operations business. In this role, you’ll analyze financial data, prepare reports, and deliver insights that help senior Operations leaders manage budgets, forecasts, and overall performance. This is a highly visible role with opportunities to build strong analytical skills and make a real impact across the organization.
 
This role is based in Chicago, IL. While much of the work can be done remotely, the ability to come into the office for collaboration and training is required.
 
What You'll Do
  • Prepare financial reports, analyses, and narratives that highlight key trends and drivers, along with recommended actions.

  • Use financial systems (Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Adaptive) to improve forecasting and tracking accuracy.

  • Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring clear visibility into results.

  • Partner with Operations leaders and their teams on questions related to forecasts, revenue, billing, and contracts.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
  • 1+ years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Sales Operations, or Consulting (internships or related experience a plus).

  • Strong Excel skills; Workday Adaptive experience is a plus.

  • Background or interest in Tech/Software with recurring revenue models a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and initiative.

  • Ability to work with large data sets, build models, and share insights in a clear and compelling way.

  • Comfortable presenting financial concepts to non-financial audiences and influencing peers and leaders.

  • Flexible and resourceful in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt and propose solutions.

Location: This role is based in Chicago, IL. While much of the work can be done remotely, the ability to come into the office for collaboration and training is required.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000.
