Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and approve incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods against engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections using height gages, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and other precision measurement tools.
  • Document inspection results through reports, logs, and database entries, including rework and scrap tracking.
  • Support production teams by communicating nonconformances and required adjustments.
  • Maintain and verify proper operation of inspection equipment, coordinating calibration or repair when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality systems and reduce rework.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in a quality, inspection, or manufacturing role (preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of metrology and mechanical measurement equipment.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Experience with CMM inspection highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with quality documentation, reporting, and data entry.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills.
