DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out Supervisory Responsibilities, in the absence of the Player Relations Supervisor, with assigned Team Members to retain and motivate a professional workforce for the Shooting Star Casino, Hotel, and Event Center.
• Providing necessary leadership and skills to Team Members.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work.
• Rewards and disciplines Team Members.
• Keep Team Member performance reviews updated.
• Ensure the strictest of confidentiality is maintained at all times.
• Coordinates training and mentorship for Team Members.
• Level 1 Complimentary authority for dining venues and hotel.
Creates and maintains necessary auditing documentations to ensure accurate protection of Shooting Star Casino funds.
• Organizes and prepares daily coupon board for each Star Rewards’ Center station.
• Compiles and verifies coupon logs at the end of the day to report any discrepancies.
• Completes appropriate auditing reports to comply with internal gaming controls.
• Accounts for any Shortages and Overages.
Oversees the daily operations of Star Rewards’ Center to maintain a successful and professional work environment.
• Carries out established policies and procedures for Star Rewards’ Center, Coat Check and Wheelchair Reservations.
• Compiles and organizes Wheelchair reservation information.
• Carries out the merging of rewards cards.
• Sorts and files internal documents.
• Prepares and submits orders in WorkPlace for Star Rewards’ Center merchandise.
• Distribution of concert tickets and assists with concerts and special events.
• Carries out general Star Rewards’ Center duties, assisting guests, processing coupons, currency exchange, redemptions, and new accounts.
Listens and responds to guest concerns to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Analyzes guest complaints regarding our Oasis system and determines appropriate action.
• Refer guests to appropriate department or function for issue resolution.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
One-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred; or 2 years of experience or training in a related field.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & DESIGNATIONS
Must meet all licensing requirements as prescribed by the Tribal- State Compact for Gaming.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Knowledge of and ability to apply internal gaming controls.
• Knowledge of and skill in using a personal computer and related software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of and ability to apply commonly accepted rules of grammar, spelling and punctuation in written communication to develop Management reports and summaries.
• Knowledge of and ability in using Oasis- Players Tracking System.
• Skills of determining alternatives that would correct a situation to provide effective guest services.
• Skill in preparing written materials such as correspondence reports and proposals to meet purpose and audience.
• Skill of delegating authority and encourage and supporting risk taking to develop responsible Team Members.
• Ability to display excellent decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently is self-motivated and display outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as gaming controls and procedure manuals, safety rules, and operation and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to follow procedures and give attention to detail.
• Ability to work cooperatively within a group to make the work of the group successful and effective.
• Ability to identify and carry out actions to achieve goals while considering risks.
• Ability to frequently stand for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to reach above shoulder height.
• Ability to reach below shoulder height.
• Ability to occasionally climb ladders.
• Ability to frequently stoop and bend.
• Ability to occasionally lift 25-50 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Frequent exposure to loud noise levels. Minimal exposure to Blood Bourne Pathogens.
• Continuous exposure to high concentration levels of tobacco smoke.
