- Design and implement in vitro and in vivo experiments to evaluate metabolic pathways and mechanisms of action in obesity, diabetes, and related metabolic disorders.
- Develop and optimize cellular models of hepatic and adipose tissue biology, including co-culture systems and organoid platforms, using human or mammalian, immortalized, primary, or iPSC-derived cell lines.
- Apply metabolic tracing techniques and flux analysis to dissect nutrient utilization, lipid metabolism, and endocrine signaling across tissues.
- Use animal models of metabolic disease to investigate physiological responses and validate therapeutic hypotheses
- Perform molecular and biochemical assessments (e.g., molecular cloning, qPCR, ELISA, Western blot) on in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo samples in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain accurate records, conduct independent data analysis, and communicate findings in written and oral formats.
