Travel Required: Yes – Must be willing and able to travel to various clinic locations as needed

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing both patient check-in and check-out processes, supporting front desk operations, and providing leadership support to the front office team. Medical Office Assistant Duties:

Greet and assist patients and visitors, identifying and addressing their needs.

Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.

Enter and verify patient demographic and insurance information in the EMR system.

Check for necessary referrals and ensure all forms are completed and signed.

Assemble patient charts and prepare for appointments.

Schedule appointments, procedures, x-rays, and tests as requested.

Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.

Confirm appointments scheduled for the next business day.

Manage and update patient records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Maintain an organized and professional front desk and reception area.

Travel to other clinic sites as needed – reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Prior experience in a medical office or front desk setting preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel between clinic sites.
