The McIntire School of Commerce is currently seeking a student to help with data reporting and analytics throughout the 2025-2026 school year. The student will help with Power BI reporting and data warehousing.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, interaction with internal stakeholders, creation of Power BI reports/dashboards/applications, security within Power BI, writing DAX formulas and making changes to SQL databases and jobs.
The student will expected to work 15 - 20 hours per week. The hours should mainly be between 8 AM – 5:30 PM Monday to Friday in RRH, but there is an option for some hours to be remote/off hours. Hours are flexible and can be set according to class schedules. The student should begin work during September of the fall semester and continue through the end of the semester with an option for renewal in the spring semester. The student must be motivated, punctual, have a sense of pride in their work, and be excited to learn new skills. Prior experience with reporting tools or relational databases is a plus.
Pay rate: $15/hour
Students will be expected to adhere to the agreed upon work schedule and follow all stated policies. The dress code for students is business casual.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
