We are seeking a Director of Business Development to pursue new client relationships and expand our presence in the financial institutions market nationwide. A DAY IN THE LIFE:
  • Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with financial institution leaders, banking executives, and industry partners to generate new business opportunities.

  • Create and expand ARCO’s footprint within the financial services design-build space, establishing top-of-mind awareness among key decision-makers.

  • Research and analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and economic factors that influence building programs within the financial sector.

  • Help develop and manage the execution of a strategic sales plan focused on design-build solutions for banks, credit unions, and financial facilities.

  • Attend trade shows, banking association meetings, and financial industry events to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and client needs.

  • Partner closely with ARCO’s marketing, project management, and operations teams to coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process.

  • Travel as needed, up to 40%.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5–10 years of business development experience, preferably within design-build, financial institutions, or other niche commercial markets.

  • Strong network and proven success in developing relationships with executives and decision-makers in the banking and financial services industry.

  • Highly prefer direct sales experience in design-build delivery models.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in business development software (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Pipedrive, etc.).
