As our Payroll Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and accurate payroll operations across Healthcare Australia’s large and diverse workforce. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing Shared Services team and contribute to HCA’s ongoing growth.
Day to day you will:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing using Salesforce/2cloudnine for both permanent and casual staff.
Ensure weekly timesheets are processed accurately and in line with Modern Awards and compliance requirements.
Partner with HR and Finance to deliver accurate reporting and payroll advice.
Support employees and managers by resolving payroll queries and providing guidance on awards and entitlements.
Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll processes, systems, and standards.
This is a full-time role based in our Adelaide office, working standard business hours Monday to Friday.
Let’s talk about you!
To take up this challenge, you’ll bring at least five years’ payroll experience, with strong knowledge of end-to-end processing and the ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation. You’re confident navigating Modern Awards, NES, superannuation, and taxation requirements, and are highly accurate with attention to detail. Your strong communication and problem-solving skills mean you can build trust with colleagues while providing outstanding customer service. Experience with Salesforce/2cloudnine or similar payroll systems will be highly regarded.
