Instructional Tutor - Physics Classroom (2025-2026 ONLY) - Bullitt East High chez Bullitt County Schools

This position is for the 2025-2026 school year ONLY!

Bullitt East High School is looking for an Instructional Tutor to provide academic oversight and facilitate physics instruction using software platforms. This role is crucial to ensuring students have access to high-quality science education in collaboration with certified teacher/teacher of record. This position will perform instructional tutor responsbilities and be expected to: 

1. Monitor instructional software platforms and track academic progress for students for physics instruction. 

2. Attend trainings, Bullitt Days, PLC meetings, etc. to collaborate and provide academic oversight for the classroom in connected with Kentucky Academic Standards for Physics. 

3. Work with teachers, instrutional coaches, district administration, etc. to support the online platforms and co-plan student learning/lessons. 

4. Facilitate and assist with parent communication; grading and reporting for each grading period in collaboration with teacher of record. 

5. Provide general support to students in the classroom as they use the instructional software and/or engage in learning experiences in physics.  

This position will be 7.5 hours a day and 183 days per year. 

(170 school days, 4 holidays, 7 Bullitt/Planning Days, 2 extended days) 

Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date. 

Considered full-time and eligible for benefits 

Candidates must have a minimum of 64 semester hours and a 2.5 GPA and provide official transcripts upon recommendation for hire.
