We're looking for someone to join our team as an Applications Analyst Lead who:
Position Summary:
The Applications Analyst – Lead (HRIS) at Clinica Sierra Vista is a senior-level role responsible for the strategic configuration, optimization, and governance of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and payroll/timekeeping platforms. This role aligns HR technology capabilities with organizational strategy, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivers efficient, accurate workforce management processes. The Lead serves as the HRIS subject matter expert (SME) and guides the HRIS analyst team to achieve operational excellence.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of HRIS systems to meet evolving organizational and compliance needs.
- Serve as the HRIS subject matter expert, providing advanced guidance and troubleshooting for complex HR, payroll, and benefits system issues.
- Collaborate with HR, payroll, finance, and operational leaders to analyze workflows, recommend optimizations, and enhance system functionality.
- Oversee and execute HRIS configuration, new module implementations, and integrations, ensuring seamless adoption and minimal disruption.
- Direct system testing efforts (unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing) to maintain performance, data integrity, and security.
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior and mid-level HRIS analysts, fostering skill growth and team knowledge sharing.
- Develop and deliver advanced training programs for end-users to improve system adoption, data quality, and process efficiency.
- Partner with IT, vendors, and security teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, integration failures, and data discrepancies.
- Champion process improvement and automation initiatives to streamline HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance workflows.
- Oversee change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes, features, and technologies.
- Establish and enforce HRIS governance standards, including documentation, configuration control, and data management practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive HRIS/payroll administration experience, including system configuration, optimization, and integrations.
- Proven leadership experience managing HRIS projects, configuration, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Expert proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar enterprise HRIS/payroll platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex system and process challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- In-depth understanding of HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance workflows, including federal/state labor laws and data privacy regulations.
- HRIS or payroll certifications (e.g., ADP Certified Specialist, PHR/SPHR with HR technology focus) preferred.
