Summary
This position is responsible for performing the primary review on all reportable loans related to the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). This role is also responsible for generating loan documents and boarding loan data for commercial, real estate and consumer loans.
The mid point compensation pay for this position is
$34.32 - 38.34 per hour. All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct primary validation for Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) by analyzing and interpreting loan applications and other supporting documentation to ensure accurate reporting of data.
- Communicate with various loan teams to resolve any errors or inconsistencies and provide guidance for corrections to ensure accurate and timely reporting of HMDA and CRA data.
- Work with the appropriate teams at the corporate level for guidance and ongoing training related to best practice for reporting accurate data for HMDA and CRA on Originated and Adverse Action loans.
- Assist with training loan staff on basics of what constitutes a HMDA reportable loan and a CRA reportable loan and direct them to the appropriate resources available.
- Track errors to determine trends and training needs on HMDA and CRA requirements and create report of findings and error ratios to be utilized by management.
- Prepare loan documents for commercial and consumer loans by reviewing approved credit authorizations and supporting documentation within timeline requested for loan closing.
- Review supporting documentation to determine we are in receipt of all required information to include compliance with relevant loan regulations
- Board commercial and consumer loans to core system via integrations with underwriting systems, including participation data when applicable.
- Disburse loan proceeds and related loan fees to appropriate accounts as directed by Loan Officer/Assistant and ensure disbursements balance to source documents
- Record pertinent documents in a timely manner to ensure the bank’s expected lien position and create tickler to monitor expiration dates.
- Assist processing team with maintenance requests as needed.
- Assist with other loan servicing duties assigned in a back-up capacity.
- Actively seek to understand all procedures relative to assigned duties and responsibilities and stay current with changes to procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training courses to keep current with policies, procedures and banking regulations, to include completion of OnCourse bank trainings as assigned within scheduled time frame.

About You:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 3 years’ experience in a loan compliance role or commercial lending environment required.
- Experience with reporting requirements for HMDA and CRA reportable loans preferred.
- Experience with preparing loan documents for commercial, real estate and consumer loans preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel required.
- Knowledgeable with LaserPro platform for producing loan documentation preferred.
- Knowledge of Jack Henry Silverlake/Xperience core operating system preferred.
- Knowledge of nCino Salesforce platform
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as job aids, policies and procedures and demonstrate ability to retain and apply what is applicable
- Ability to apply logical or critical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Able to analyze and interpret a variety of technical instructions and can deal with multiple variables.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of organization, ability to prioritize and multi-task with attention to detail and accuracy, manage multiple projects, and demonstrate self-motivation and ability to follow through with tasks.
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneous in a diverse, and growth-oriented environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work performed in an office environment. Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.

Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
Specific lifting abilities required by this job include:Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
