Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator is an integral member of the Human Resources team and People Division overall. Under the direction of the Director of Employee Relations, with a dotted line to the Human Resources Operations Manager, this role manages logistical and administrative backend activities of employee onboarding, learning, compliance, and reporting.
Job Type: Full-Time (40+ hours per week)
Reports To: Director of Employee Relations
Location: Sheboygan, WI
Job Responsibilities:

- Provides administrative support to the Chief People Officer and Director of Employee Relations
- Gathers and files all paperwork related to new hires, and existing employees including, but not limited to: offer letters, background check authorization forms and non-disclosure agreements.
- Distributes policies, passwords, and guidelines, as needed in various technology systems for new and existing employees.
- Assists with the coordination, preparation, and distribution of employee documentation as requested.
- Maintains oversight of Vista Care learning management system and associated reporting requirements
- Provides assistance in the creation of various learning activities and classes as requested by leadership
- Maintains and provides accurate reporting of various metrics as requested by Vista Care leadership
- Ensures that the personnel files for all new hires are completed in a timely manner and in compliance with all state, local and industry requirements.
- Completes audits of employee files on a regular basis ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and assists operations and the greater People Division team with audits or surveys by state authorities and/or funders.
- Adheres to all Vista Care policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of confidentiality
- Works collaboratively with other members of the human resources and people division teams
- Performs other duties as assigned by Leadership.
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work successfully and professionally with all levels of employees and management.
- Ability to understand basic technical concepts and explain them in simple terms.
- Ability to troubleshoot, identify improvements, and make simple decisions independently.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Strong team player with a results driven approach and who can work with limited guidance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Excel, etc.
- Prior experience in HR Systems, applicant tracking systems (e.g. UKG/Paycor Recruiting), HR capital management systems
Requirements

- Must be 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1-3 years experience within Human Resources, Recruiting and/or Employee Onboarding preferred.
Physical Requirements:

- Position works onsite in Vista Care corporate office environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer/laptop
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- This position will be performed in an office setting and will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
- Regular and prompt attendance required.
