Quality Lab Technician chez TI Fluid Systems

Under the direction of the Quality Supervisor/Manager this position is responsible for Performing Process/Production validation tests, initiating corrective action on non-conformity as well as recording and filing results. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper techniques is essential. This job position is for an afternoon shift (3pm-11pm).

Responsibilities of Position:

1. Perform and monitor the overall quality of parts from in-process to final inspections to auditing
2. Verifies that operators and manufacturing acceptable quality parts and running to SPC specifications
3. Perform quality related testing
4. Basic knowledge of manufacturing practices, inspection systems and programs are required
5. Basic knowledge of mathematics required
6. Initiates review of non-conformity
7. Basic knowledge of mathematics and SPC and MSA preferred
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Education and Experience Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Familiarity with computerized office systems and PC software

Physical Demands:

1. Standing, walking, sitting for extended periods of time, bending, reaching and climbing stairs
2. Repetitive finger movement, twisting or pressure involving wrist or hands
3. Occasional use of both hands and legs
4. Speak clearly, oral communication and hearing conversation
5. Ability for rapid manual/muscular coordination simultaneously involving wrist/hands/fingers
6. Vision: depth perception and distinguish basic colors
7. Use of respirator when working around chemicals
