Responsibilities

  • Define project scope and objectives: Work with Eagle Materials stakeholders to translate broad business goals into detailed, actionable AI project plans.
  • Project development: Create comprehensive plans for AI rollout detailing timeline, schedules, milestones, resource requirement and budgets.
  • Contact oversight: Work with Legal group during contract negotiation and execute contract in a timely manner.
  • Project execution: Manage a cross-functional team which could be made up of internal stakeholders and 3rd party contracts to deliver the projects on time and on budget.
  • Program management: After AI projects are successfully rolled out, work with the stakeholders for continuous operational improvement and training.
  • Program report: During all phases of the program, develop and lead all reporting matrixes and KPIs

Desired Work Experience and Specific Skill Set

  • Ability to effect change in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of neural networks
  • Knowledge of network structures and corporate security systems
  • Corporate wide project management
  • Ability to sort through large amounts of data to identify relationships with process performance
  • High level of understanding about product manufacturing. Cement or wallboard is a plus
  • Lead or manage a group of technical professionals
  • Ability to lead and perform application inspections and report generation of findings
  • Mentoring less experienced plant engineers or technical professionals
  • Schedule development and management of internal and 3rd party resources
  • Capital cost estimating (Engineering, Equipment and Construction)
  • Knowledge of typical process control strategy from PID to SPC with experience in AI, advanced controllers and loop tuning software
  • Ability to work in multi-functional groups
  • Lead in project commissioning
  • Experience in performing root cause analysis
  • Ability to handle multiply issues in different areas at once
  • Demonstrated communication skills. (Status reporting, meeting facilitating, action lists, etc.)
  • Highly organized and self-directed

Education requirement

 Accredited bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering.
