TDI Technologies, Inc. (TDI) is seeking a Program Manager. The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for the successful execution and oversight of assigned Department of Defense (DoD) contracts and projects. PMs serve as the primary point of contact between the company, our clients, and project staff, ensuring delivery of high-quality services that meet contractual requirements, financial objectives, and corporate goals.
PMs provide leadership across the full program lifecycle, from project initiation through closeout, while supporting recruiting efforts, business development activities, and cross-organizational collaboration. This position applies to all Program Managers regardless of tenure or level, with expectations scaled to the complexity and size of assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Execution
- Lead day-to-day management of assigned contracts and projects, ensuring performance meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Serve as the primary interface with government clients, subcontractors, and internal staff.
- Conduct regular client and team engagement, including onsite visits, to ensure smooth operations, effective communication, and responsive issue resolution.
- Oversee program schedules, deliverables, risks, and performance metrics.
Financial Management
- Own full financial responsibility for assigned projects within the company’s Accounting System of Record (Unanet).
- Establish and maintain project budgets, management reserves (as directed), and accurate financial forecasts.
- Monitor project expenditures, funding status, and profitability, providing timely reporting to leadership.
- Ensure all resource plans, expense plans, and allocations are accurate and up to date in Unanet.
- Conduct thorough reviews of billed revenue, costs, and funding risks; partner with Finance and Project Control Analysts to resolve discrepancies.
- Fully leverage Unanet for project and people management.
Resource & Staff Management
- Oversee staffing needs for assigned projects, working with recruiting to fill positions and support talent acquisition.
- Coordinate across the organization to de-conflict resources and ensure optimal workforce utilization.
- Mentor and guide staff, fostering professional growth and alignment with organizational values.
Business Development & Growth Support
- Collaborate with the Growth/BD team to shape future opportunities, respond to data calls, and support proposal development.
- Provide technical inputs, management plan contributions, and proposal reviews as required.
- Identify organic growth opportunities within existing contracts.
Reporting & Communication
- Provide timely, accurate reporting to company leadership on project status, risks, financial health, and resource issues.
- Ensure transparency of program execution and alignment with leadership’s strategic direction.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in program or project management, preferably within DoD contracts. Experience requirements may scale with program complexity.
- Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance required.
- Skills:
- Strong financial acumen and proficiency with program financial management tools (Unanet experience strongly preferred).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, de-conflict resources, and drive successful outcomes.
- Familiarity with DoD contracting, reporting, and compliance requirements.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position. While some tasks may be performed remotely, PMs are expected to be onsite with clients and staff as required to ensure effective communication, oversight, and smooth operations.
