Assistant Preschool Teacher chez Little School of the West

We are a private, church preschool in Cypress with 7 classrooms. Our school opened in 1980 and we have been at our current location since 1986. We serve ages 2-5 years old. We are an academic and developmental program with organized instruction in the morning and daycare available for the afternoon.

We are looking for a Full Time Teacher Qualified Float (with at least 12 E.C.E.units) with the following qualifications: friendly, caring, kind, loving and able to motivate children by using positive reinforcement and have a sincere love for children. This position would be covering any aide or teacher that called out/vacation coverage. This position requires you to have the ability to move fast, stand for long periods of time, squat, sit and lift 20 lbs., change diapers/potty train, setting up and putting toys away, snack prep and serving/cleaning up, engaging with children while playing, supporting the classroom teacher by helping with behavior, if you are covering for an aide. This position also requires subbing for the classroom teacher. This position needs someone who is flexible and likes to be in different rooms. You must attend a Bible-based church.

E.C.E. units completed. Need at least 12 units.
