Senior Engineer I/ II – MEP Mechanical (HVAC) chez Walter P Moore

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC design and MEP coordination for our projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and leadership to ensure high-quality, timely project execution. 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead HVAC  design and MEP coordination from concept to GFC stages. 

• Must be fully conversant with Cooling Load calculations, Ventilation calculations which includes Basement car parking, pressurization, smoke extract, Mechanical plant rooms, Kitchen & Toilet exhaust systems, HVAC system sizing and equipment selections, etc. 

• Collaborate with consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment. 

• Ensure compliance with EC norms, MOEF, NBC 2016, IS codes, ASHRAE/ISHRAE, sustainable HVAC design criteria and other relevant standards. 

• Drive sustainable HVAC solutions and manage cost estimation. 

• Review and approve contractor shop drawings and as-built documentation. 

• Conduct site inspections, approve material submittals, and oversee system commissioning. 

• Guide project teams during mock-ups, sample flats, and final handover processes. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 

• 8–10 years of experience in HVAC design and MEP coordination in the real estate/construction industry. 

• 4–6 years with design consultants and 2–4 years in project execution. 

• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of HAP, IESVE, Revit MEP-HVAC is an advantage. 

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ventilation, smoke management, and mechanical room design. 

• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
