What you do:

As a Business Systems Analyst supporting Illustrations at Allianz Life, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality illustration capabilities across our product portfolio—including fixed index annuities, registered index-linked annuities, and life insurance. You’ll be responsible for writing clear technical requirements, creating accurate illustration reports, and supporting internal partners across Product, Compliance, Legal, and Technology. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your understanding of our products and systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure illustration outputs are accurate, compliant, and customer-friendly. You’ll report to the Senior Director of Product Delivery and contribute directly to the success of our product roadmap and customer experience.

Job Functions:

• Write clear and detailed technical requirements for illustration system updates based on product specs and stakeholder input.
• Own the end-to-end creation and maintenance of the sales illustration, ensuring they accurately describe product features, meet compliance requirements, and are tailored to deliver a clear and engaging experience for customers.
• Partner with internal teams to gather feedback and support product-related updates, enhancements, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure illustration tools meet business and technical expectations.
• Support testing and validation of illustration outputs, including troubleshooting and documenting system issues.
• Help improve user experience by aligning interface features with business needs and customer expectations.
• Use AI tools to streamline documentation, reporting, and analysis tasks.

What you bring:

• 0-1 years of experience required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

• You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc.). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship.  

Base Salary Range $72,000-100,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
