Who Are We Looking For?
Superfeet is looking for a Jr System Administrator who will be responsible for enthusiastically supporting our end users and their utilization of our office computer equipment, related peripherals, devices, and backend infrastructure.
They will be responsible for providing support for the workstations, servers, network equipment, and all related devices and services located locally and in the cloud.
This person’s time will be divided between supporting backend systems and services, IT projects, and end user support.
They will also assist in managing the IT Help Desk ticketing system, as well as providing timely resolutions to tickets assigned to them. They will be responsible for demonstrating a sufficient level of skills and knowledge in the above tasks, as well as an aptitude for problem-solving and a desire for continued growth.
This position reports to the Director of IT. As part of the IT department, you will contribute to day-to-day activities and special projects as required.
What You’ll Do:
- Support of IT infrastructure – monitoring, maintenance, and support of servers, networking equipment, cloud services, and printers.
- Support of Enterprise Applications, including: Dynamics CRM, Macola ERP, O365/Azure Environment
- Enterprise print server management and mobile printers
- Support for escalated help desk tickets
- Assist in managing the IT Help Desk ticketing system as well as providing timely resolution to tickets assigned to them.
- Time will be divided between backend system support & management, IT projects, and end user support.
- As part of the support team, perform technical troubleshooting and data analysis to determine the root cause as well as answer application-related questions.
- Part of an On-Call rotation for after-hours support
Your Skills and Abilities:
- A positive, solutions-oriented attitude with a strong customer service mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Hyper-V, MSSQL, Azure, Intune, Power BI, and Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience with Fortinet switches and firewalls
- Comfortable working in a mixed Mac and PC environment
- Strong understanding of:
- Server setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Networking fundamentals: VLANs, routing, protocols, and topologies
- Storage Area Networks (SANs), RAID configurations, and iSCSI
- Virtualization technologies
- Cloud services including AWS and Azure
- Microsoft Intune and Entra
- Power Automate workflows
- Printer setup and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated proficiency with:
- Windows Server software and tools (Exchange Online, Microsoft Remote Apps, Teams, etc.)
- Server hardware and infrastructure (SANs, clustering, etc.)
- Excellent listening, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- High degree of technical aptitude and curiosity
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to travel internationally to Canada as needed
- Education: A+, Network+, or MCITP Systems Certification preferred
- Experience: Minimum 2 years supporting computer systems; experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Compensation: $28 – $33/hour (DOE) plus sales target, company, and SMART goal bonus
Location: Ferndale, WA (Hybrid)
