Reading Intervention Teacher chez Independent School District 15

Provide targeted small-group instruction to students performing below grade level.

Use data from assessments and teacher input to identify students in need of intervention and to monitor ongoing progress.

Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to align Tier 2 & 3 interventions.

Implement evidence-based literacy intervention programs and instructional practices.

Track and analyze student performance data to adjust instruction and report progress to teachers, administrators, and families.

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and strategies for at-home support.

Participate in professional development to remain current in literacy research, intervention strategies, and instructional technology.

Assist in administering school-wide reading assessments and compiling data reports as needed.

Contribute to a positive, supportive learning environment that fosters students’ confidence and love of reading.
